Dance practice today was amusing, probably because of those lower-sec girls who kept laughing and laughing, which eventually made me laughed the loudest anyway. The ratio of girls to boys during dance was like, 25:2? Instructor Wang Da is a man, so not counted
We really look like spiders for one action, it looks kinda gross initially until all other moves were linked together. And, the risk of endangering yourself in that small little music room, is actually higher than you thought. I was trying to be so careful so as to not kick the girl underneath my feet when rolling sideways. Careful as I might be, I was kicked instead, across the face.
Good thing I’m thick-skinned … * laughs *
Afterwards, we watched a couple of SYF Gold with honours peformances before going off. I went looking for Miss Chee, to get my storyline approved before I start writing the lines. And yea, I can verify that our principal is really determined to get every award, no matter how little it might be, even if it means to go through hell or by methods that most people would go against … the competition among schools are comparable to the business world, ruthless aggression is the way to success.
This poem should mark an end, as I have said a few months ago …
A song, a poem and a story shall mark an end to this unreciprocated feeling.
… And this is Regrets by the Break of Dawn
Melodies of the song weren’t sad at all,
Bitter words were still standing strong,
Whispers of love would have faded with time,
Yet here I am,
Staring down at this glass of wine,
Diluted by droplets rolling down my cheek,
Wondering where did these tears ever came from.
Looking everywhere I go,
Just to find a pair of innocent eyes amongst the strangers,
Until angels brought me there again,
The hotel lounge where you used to be,
Singing alone by the stage of fame,
Glamourous spotlights they were not shone on you,
Hearing the same song but it wasn’t you.
My last night there for you,
Trying to close up the distance between me and you,
Hearing you sing that same old song,
Seeing you play the melodies on the piano,
Wishing you would look up and take a look at me,
the foolish man who barely know you,
Fallen into the deepest of the river of love,
is dreaming on and on for the rest of the song.
The night is over,
The glass is empty,
There lies no obstructions between you and me,
Only this moment that I have all your attention,
Our eyes are connected emotionally,
The sparkles of love took me one step closer to you,
Now, I can see your face so clearly like no one else did before.
The candy sweetness scent of yours,
A kiss that lingers tells me I am chained to you,
We don’t need any words,
All that we are doing tells the truth,
I want you and it is true,
All I have to do is to hold you close,
Can’t close my eyes now that I am finally with you.
Does it take sophisticated reasons to make you stay?
That goodbye so soon, stole my heart,
You have gone without a trace,
Nights are so lone without your embrace,
I would do just anything to see your face,
But the fact remains, you have gone,
it is no longer romantic waiting alone in blue.
I remembered everything you sang,
One night and we’ve ran out of words to say,
I never read between the lines that you sang,
Love was blind,
I couldn’t see the flaws between my own lines,
And that divides us somewhere in our love,
Separating me from you for being too ignorant with love.
Today was the inter-class soccer competition between the secondary 3 classes, and we managed to win the whole thing! The 3rd year in YCS, finally E1 won the game.
The first match was 1-0, with Kamal’s incredible speed that the opposing team can’t keep up with … he scored that one and only goal that brought us to the next round.
The 2nd match (semi-final)was 3-1, and this match proved that we have a better goalkeeper than them. That one goal which was conceded by Gabriel, was actually my fault since I didn’t guard my post very well and let them through. I nearly broke one guy’s ankle as I missed the ball and since my leg had swung at full force, it just slam directly into his ankle. One of their player was sent off for rough play with Cazua.
The final, against 3T1 was 1-0 during extra time. Gabriel did an awesome job with his goalkeeping skills, grabbing every ball that tried to enter the net. I played for the first 2 minutes, as Kamal has pulled his calf muscle and when he came, I went off the field. Steven was playing with an injury, but eventually did well with clearing the ball away though he blundered a few times.
Just as Steven was dribbling the ball left-forward, the other team’s player just came from his back and dive-speared Steven, causing both to fall. That guy quarreled with the ref, Mr. Foo and was sent off. Steven could not bear it any longer and I took his place. 10 minutes was up, still 0-0. The first half of the extra time made no difference, but when it came to the second half, Cazua made the tiebreaker, the winning goal, the one that boosted everybody’s morale.
The audience (mainly ex-2E1 and some ex-2E2 guys, with Miss Lim) were so excited, everybody just screamed and shouted, clapping until the match resumed. There’s a smile on our team-mates & supporters’ faces, and no doubt, Cazua was on cloud 9. He slided and bowed upon the grass, being satisfied with his own performance. However, he pulled his calf muscle thanks to his slide. We eventually wasted enough time to pull off a 1-0, winning this whole thing!
Mid-year examination fever is finally gone for good, but I’m not expecting good results this time. I didn’t bothered to study, but the true reason is that I’m just lazy to revise.
Subjects I’m expecting to score low are A Maths and PoA.
I slept over 12 midnight every night during this examination period, busying with my photoshop and sorting out my documents. On the other hand, the documents in my room are in a big mess as compared to those in my PC. Maybe I should clean up … maybe.
Today, we took our final paper - Additional mathematics. That hall, was freaking cold and the temperature was chilling my bones, but luckily I brought my jacket along. My hands shivered halfway while doing that freakin’ paper, wonder if it’s because of fear or just coldness.
We felt so alive after the examination, and thus we went to play soccer after meeting up with Ze Yi and the gang. I could finally (and i mean FINALLY) juggle for 9 times after these 2 months. It isn’t fantastic but at least, I broke Ze Yi’s record
Hong Yong was so funny, wanted to shit during intervals of the match. We thought he should visit YB’s (a girl whom everybody affilates with him) house to settle his unfinished business instead of travelling to the CCC. Our thoughts went a little wild, or maybe not, to think of all kinds of weird stuffs that would happen in the house.
Ah Yong … I’ve waited so long ~
Oh baby, I took a bathe already, is that alright …?
And all sorts of funny stuffs, so on and forth.
I nearly slept during the 3rd match, as I did not haven’t enough sleep the night before. Darren was on form today, managing to retrieve the ball from Edward many times. After the 5th match, we went to had lunch and went our own ways. And for that, Ze Yi asked Ed.& me like “Wanna go Jurong or not” for over 5 times …
Such a tiring yet fulfilling day.
I was no different from a walking corpse today, a complete lifeless living schoolboy. Woke up slightly later and had to rush my way to the MRT, ditching my iPod aside for today since I don’t have time for it anyway since I’m rushing. When I reached the station, the train was about to arrive, hurray, I will be on time.
But god only knows, I left my EZ-Link card at home! I was so pissed off than I had to buy a standard ticket, and to my horror, the machine only accepts $2 or $5 notes, whereas I only had red ones in my wallet. After searching through my recipes, I managed to find a pathetic $2 note, the one and only!
Now I had to wait 4 minutes more, sigh. Nothing particularly special happened in school, except that I got so engrossed with the novel I bought yesterday. So my day goes like this, read, sleep, read, sleep, read, go home. But of course, there are stuffs happening in between.
Our chinese teacher was absent (again) and as usual, class went into chaos. My life was at risk after offending a green bull, Ze Yi, as he chased me 2 rounds the classroom. I swear his short-sprint speed is deadly for his size, just imagine FAT BOY with the speed of light … * shivers *
I went home directly after school, had my lunch and watched the notebook (movie) once more, since I just felt like watching that romantic little movie. I can take no more of my fatigue … dropped on my bed and took a long nap.
