Sang the national day songs this morning assembly, was singing at the top of my voice along with some classmates. The other end of our class was pretty quiet. Chaqif amused us once again, he really rocks!
We had to draw a character based on our own depiction of a teacher in a comprehension passage, so this is how my interpretation of Laila looks like. I thought it looks like Huimin, but Sean said it looks like her. Cheryl’s one is very artistic, looks like those fashion designers’ model sketch!
We were discussing about the video after school, with Sianglin joining us later. After she came in, someone become so much more reserved and quiet *wheet*. This is the only time I don’t hear profanities in every 3 lines from him! We played cards later on, and sang Andy a birthday song before he went off. Sean was the big loser today =)
It’s good to keep a pillow in class, enables me to concentrate on lessons and resting well in between classes. Tapes can be fun, I sealed the entrance to our class and Mr. Wong was having that “omg, take that off” face.

I realized that its the principal’s daily speech that bores my morning. He has to say something, even if they don’t really appeal. Been tired the whole day, Monday sucks.
Gawrrr! Momo attached itself to a cork with needles stuck on it, and hopping onto the gas tubes to become the new doctor-monkaoctopus! Physics lab lesson is so fun =)
Winter cap do attract lotta attention. I’ve been wearing it out since yesterday cause I have the feeling that I’m gonna have a bad hair day, it’s better to look neat in photographs =)
I made my way down to West Mall at 2.30PM to find Peiling’s present. It was tough to find a decent present, and I took like an hour to decide on one. Gosh, I spent a lot this week on presents. Must have been around $50 in total. My mum and dad always told me, never go to a birthday party empty handed.
After that, I went to The Jade, where the party was held. Auggie, Song Boon and Cazua were the guests that have already arrived, so I’m fourth. Then there were much more, and more, and packed. This one is for you Andy, that’s why I asked you to strike a pose! =)
There was this bee that caught my attention. For disturbing us too much during the preparation of the BBQ pit, it fell into the pool. I filmed down the whole process of the struggle for survival, shall upload it tomorrow since it’s getting pretty late and there’s school tomorrow. There was another bee by the edge of the pool, so I gave it a little push with the help of wind into the pool. There, another survival course.

Actually eating food can bond friendship, but definitely not Dominic’s way. Yihan was fed by Jiaqi, so tenderly~ Oh well, maybe Haziq should have took the initiative to feed Dominic to kill his boredom.
Yesterday at Xueli’s birthday, Miss Lim was the surprise guest. Since she don’t give face to come to Andy’s birthday today, Miss Kong was kind enough to make a guest appearance! Kudos~ Look at how ecstatic Andy is!

Then this is a daughter, Shronn, that came out from nowhere, don’t ask me who her mum is, but I’m positive that there’s no such thing as one-night stand. Oh yea, she’s the girlfriend of my best friend, Cazua.
Here’s the girls with a guy, and a boy. We went to West Mall’s arcade soon after, since we’re youngsters seeking thrill and even more entertainment.
This is the couple I’m talking about, Cazua and Shronn teaming up to defeat any obstacles that come their way. The power of love, ah~
Edward and Debra had no choice but to pair up against that love so strong. I’m not sure about the result, since Dominic and I were playing pool. I won the game of pool and daytona racing by luck, thanks guys =)
It was 9PM that we went to Burger King to hangout, and eventually heading home. On the MRT platform, we were thinking about a possible plot for a Final Destination style movie. Thoughts ran wild, and as Shronn stepped over the yellow line as the train approached, the train horned -.-” The driver was staring at Shronn and I, gosh, all of us were stunned.
It was an amazing day, and thanks much to Andy for such a great party. The present gave to him were by C.D.E (Cazua, Damien & Edward), and it’s actually a puzzle along with a wooden frame. The puzzle signifies our friendship, with loyalty as the theme. Hope he loves it!
It’s really difficult to choose presents. Cazua, Darren, Ze Yi & I met up at Jurong Point to shop for presents, mainly for Andy who’s holding a birthday party tomorrow. So, why did we ask him along? Well, we had to buy another present as Andy, Cazua & I are going to Xue Li’s birthday party later in the evening!
At Kiddy Palace, Ze Yi bought this mystical pool ball thing that actually answers to your questions. I don’t really believe in it though, common sense tells me this is just for fun. We bought a tigger soft toy for Xue Li in the end!
So it was Andy’s present we were searching high and low for. It didn’t took long but I thought he might like the present we chose =) No, not that television set which Ze Yi was addicted to (perhaps because it was playing Spider-man 2).
Cazua came over to my house and we played cards. We had too much time to spare before it was time to go to Xue Li’s party! Upon reaching, Cazua and I were fanning the flame -.-” Andy then took over my job when he arrived, and it took really long for the fire to start well! Grrrr.
I was kinda wasting food while those around me were playing cards. I fed the stray cats and one was darn interesting okay? It was jumping and jumping around with the crabstick from one place to another! Cats are so cute!
Song Boon was the only kid there from our school, the fun guy who keeps Xueli entertained every morning assembly. I think he gave her a necklace =) So touching ain’t it? So we took photos, cut the cake (of course, eating it) and drinking the wine! Cazua commented that I drank the wine as if it was ribena, finishing it in one gulp with the cup filled to its brim. I wanna get drunk, and feeling even more drowned but that much wasn’t enough =/

I’m ending this week of school with this post. Call it a weekly reflection but I think it’s good, provokes me to think and look back over what I’ve done for these 5 days.
Dropping Subjects
It was only on Thursday that I knew that I knew little of my class. Kinda disappointed with myself for not realizing it, that so many of my classmates find PoA difficult. Maybe it was obvious but I just don’t see the signs. Miss Lim urged everyone to strive on, because it’s not only one who is struggling. Around us there are people in the same position, wondering if they should drop subject. If one takes the initiative to drop, the others will follow suit, and eventually it becomes a class that is oh-so-pathetic.
JJ kept telling me that he don’t understand PoA before I started going through the paper with him after school. But the fact is, he can. And everyone else surely can. Don’t ask me if he’s faking it but I don’t see a reason for him to lie, and I trust that my classmates are those who wouldn’t sabotage their own studies. Just take a little more time for the pieces to fall into place, everything will work out fine.
And yea, perhaps Mr. Wong can be over demanding at times. We may find that the pace he’s teaching us is a little too fast, making things difficult to understand within such a short time. Even for me, I’m struggling with one or two topics. But I know the reason - complacency, so I’m trying to catch up now as well by revising it a little everyday. It may not seem so but I know that despite Mr. Wong’s scary-glare, many has felt his concern and care for us. Search your soul if you don’t.
And I’m gonna tell you the same thing that Miss Lim told me weeks ago when I was confused and fedup over the fact that I may have to ditch Industrialization in Geography. Be Humble & Ask.
4E1 Video Project
It’s going fine, and really happy to see the members so enthusiastic. Everyone tried to play a part without requesting to do so, it’s just such a distinct difference from last year. Hope Sianglin & Sean will be able to join us next week for the meeting, and I know they’ve been busy with their own stuffs so I didn’t went up to them and ask. Hope it doesn’t make them feel like I’m angry with them or what-so-ever =/
