So there’s 3 posts for teacher’s day celebration! I haven’t finish the post on our wild celebration but just read the 2 in the meantime, yea? Expect photographs and photographs! Oh, and the photographs are credited to Andy and the camera crew for this event =)
The Day Before Today (The preparations for this wildest party of August!)
The Morning
The Evening (An outing with my primary school friends… reminisces! Ratatouille!)
Argh, Carina really kept me waiting for long. Didn’t answer my calls, didn’t reply my sms-es. To my horror, her school only ends at 1.00PM and I waited for her before heading to McDonalds to meet up with my primary school friends. Among them were:
- Yew Chong, still my school-mate.
- Daniel, the blur blur big bird.
- Xiu Ting, always so innocent.
- Zheng Wai, still chased by mosquitoes.
- Daris, still playing with bees.
- Amos, now emo.
- Victor, still so cruelly funny.
- Jennifer, hmmm, nothing much.
And Miss Goh! Oh my gawd, I can’t remember when was the last time we talked so much. She said I’m still cheeky like I was in primary 6 when she was my form teacher, and it entertains her to see Carina and I fight it all out with words meaninglessly! Zheng Wai said that it might have perhaps been my natural gift to make people laugh. Ah, the couldn’t believe I’m still single since the last time they saw me. But there’s not much I can do about it, can I?
Afterwards, Carina went off first to meet up her friends and the rest of us sat around before heading to Jurong Point to catch a movie. Ratatouille! Rémy, the rat, lives in Paris and wants to be a chef, and hence uses Alfredo Linguini as his human-puppet to cook in the kitchen! There’s some morale in this story, like friendship and family kind of stuffs. I was laughing lots! Go catch it!

One by one, they went off after the movies. After Jennifer, Amos, Vic and I were done with dinner, we went to play pool at Clementi. Kudos to Jenn, she was the last surviving girl in our outing today =) Lost many games against vic, damn my luck today.
Shall post the morning stuffs later or tomorrow with photographs, couldn’t finish the post in time =/

We were locked out of the school as the sidegate was not opened at all! Hence our practice for the skit had to be delayed~ Everyone arrived pretty early and look at Auggie, yawning his morning away!

Apparently it seemed that we weren’t the only who were sabotaged, many others as well. School management needs to be revamped! All of us were eagarly anticipating the events for today, cause for sure it’s gonna be hell lot of fun! And man, it really was.

We had the ACES event again, which meant All Children Exercise Simultaneously. For a moment, my thoughts went wild =) There wasn’t much to this event, except that it was terribly boring because exercises during P.E. seemed more interesting. Mr. Chia himself wasn’t setting a good example after he complained that we were not enthusiastic, as all teachers and students were taking part except for him, who just stands there staring into space.

After that, us upper-secondary students had to move to the back-court for a game of hockey. 4E1 only played in the last round, winning the game against students and drawing against the teachers!

Long concert we had, nothing particularly new except major improvement in the quality of performance from our schoolmates. It’s really amazing to see this since it is our last year in this school and yea, it’s lovely.
Miss Lim won the Most Caring Teacher Award and Best Teacher for Upper-Secondary! Hurray! Mr. Liew won too, but it was sad that he was not around due to illness.
4E1 quickly assembled to 2 rows outside our class and as Cazua and Kamal escorted Miss Lim up, we clapped and greeted her with warmth and love~ I swear she was touched by what we were doing!

And here is Mrs Lim-Ang Yen Ling! In case most haven’t noticed, she was the one who gave many the most chances to shine in extra-curriculum activities! I can’t express my gratefulness simply with words, so had to show through achievements =)
So here is the skit put up by the students of 4E1! Some teachers saw their reflections in this skit, just like how Peixuan portrayed Miss Lim’s blueness! If Mr. Liew was here, it would have been much more fun! Get well soon, Mr Liew!

Here are the group photographs taken with the teachers and as our own class! 4E1 rocks!

This was really a great teacher’s day celebration, there wasn’t never one like this for all my life. I am sure all of the E1s would agree with me and hope everyone enjoyed this very special day!

These are really carefully crafted by our class girls, and were presents for the teachers! Every teacher would receive one and I’m sure that’d like it! It looks expensive and elegant, doesn’t it?

And of course, we often do more than that. Ying Xiu and Kuan Wei look so serious in their work! Perhaps only serious in the presence of each other… who knows? =)

We wouldn’t neglect the cover of a book, that’s why these guys are working so hard to put up the balloons and decorations! Zing Zai seems really enthusiastic, but there’s some work more suited for him~

That’s it! His height is just right to put these decorations high above! We were paired up to do this yesterday night, and the lights really made our class look like some kind of nightclubs.

The old crew is back to work, drama-time~! Has been really long for this reunion, last time was in 2005. Sean and Attiqah couldn’t make it for practice yesterday due to personal matters, so I was the substitute -.-”

Peach tea rocks! Cheeky picture, ain’t it? We kept on rehearsing until everyone got a feel of how the act is like, naturally. My friends are professionals, hire them!

This was my entertainment act yesterday to perk everyone up at the expenses of losign face =) It’s alright, free-karaoke and it was hell lotta fun. I can’t recall how crazy I was just yesterday.

And then I become cool!
The remedy to bad mood and illness is to have a good laugh with friends. Was quite dead in the morning, just ask around, I was hugging onto my pillow for the entire morning. That headache was killing me inside and I couldn’t find the energy to tug a little.

And then after recess, I was like a awaken giant from a thousand-year sleep. All of us were busying with class-decorations, and I did the glass-design for Mrs. Er.

The drama-act really amused me as we rehearsed, especially Sianglin =) I really had a good laugh at them.
From 4PM to 8PM, I was holding on to the mic. At the corridoor, I was lip-syncing JJ Lin’s ?? in a humorous manner, which attracted lots of fans to watch the fun. See? I’m back to 100% again! And I just kept on singing, and singing and singing for the rest of the day.

You’d be dazzled by our class decoration if you step into our class. Wanna know why? Pay a visit tomorrow! It’s somewhat similar to night-clubs. Of course, with me as the lead singer =)
To 4E1:
?????? Let’s make this event unforgettable ya? And you jerk it out~
