I took the same train as Jiaqi and her sister today! Has been like, so long since I saw Jiaqi? And it was the first time seeing her sister in person, lol. Innova’s and JJ’s uniform sure look alike!
I have forgotten about my day already. It was rather boring. How interesting can things get when lectures and tutorials fill the whole darn schedule? I haven’t felt the stress yet, but today was exhausting. Monday blues, I hope, I guess.
And Jerry has been sketching for the entire day during classes, and they look beautiful. If there’s a chance, I wanna post his Singapore currency sketches here, really amazing.
I love being an economics student in my class! Look at Siying’s (Melissa’s) blog if you wanna know how painful enjoyable their chemistry practical was =)
Entertain me, I am super-super-super bored.
Baby girl escapes horrific car crash which killed parents, brother and grandmaA TWO-MONTH-OLD baby girl miraculously escaped death in a horrific car crash on Thursday morning that killed her parents, grandmother and brother on the North-South Expressway.
When I come to think of it, is the baby’s survival really worth it? I don’t think I’m being sadistic, especially when you consider how this event might affect the kid as she grows up, death may have been better.
Just place yourself in her shoes as she is like, 12 years old and came to know about one such tragedy that happened while she was young. “Why is my family taken away from me? Why I am alive?” All these questions and doubts come to mind, and it is certainly a… tragedy, even by then.
If she is positive about this fact, she may just consider that she is the person with ‘5 lives running in her blood.’ That may just be some kind of condolence and motivation in her life. Maybe.
When I came to know of this piece of news from my mom, it is very disturbing. I suddenly felt like not talking at all and type all my thoughts out. The immediate line that comes to mind was: if i was her.
When you take away something physical from someone, that is not all you have robbed that person of. If you are not sure of how bad a thing you do can have on somebody, place yourself in his or her shoes. You may not understand it all but you get an rough idea of whether you should carry or on not. Even if it may be beyond our control, just try, you may just end up doing something good.

Oh damn, now I have no TV-shows to watch while having my meals - I am done watching Criminal Minds Season 1 & 2. Dr. Spencer Reid is my favorite character from the show!
Hotchner: This is Dr. Reid
Heather’s Brother: Doctor? You seem too young to have gotten into Medical school…
Reid: There are PhD’s. Three of them.
Heather’s Brother: Are you a genius or something?
Reid: I don’t believe that intelligence can be accurately quantified, but I do have an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory and can read 20,000 words per minute. [gets a weird look] Yes, I’m a genius.
Eidetic memory is the coolest ability I think one could ever have, realistically. Probably because my memory work sucks, thats why I feel this way?

I just recalled something. I haven’t been active in Blogskins and it felt as though it has been really really long. So I was looking back at the blogskins I made and my attention turned to this one, my 18th skin which was the skin of the day for 23 March 2007. Exactly 1 year later, my 30th skin was the skin of the day for 2008. So when I look at the figures, 12 skins in 12 months, is not a bad contribution after all, no? =)
And coincidentally, quantity is not always equal to quality. Oh well, at least that is what I believe.

Amir was mocking Pengyang with his wondering ink-work on MSN during our class-conference =)

I have finally completed this! Looks real great, gonna show my classmates tomorrow and then print it out on Monday =)
Have to copy the whole darn chapter of the Chinese textbook, arghhh. I’m already sick of it when I was done with 2 paragraphs.
I fell asleep during maths tutorial, omg. I woke up when I did one of the questions on the board… what a wakeup call.
I’m slacking for this evening cause I’m done with most of my work for the week, except for the freakin’ chinese. Damn.

Funny Melissa, small girl - big bag.

I miss camp. Some of the leaders are already falling sick =(

Great day, had lotta fun. Particularly because of my class people, so damn funny. By the end of the day, as we are entering Room 111 for Project Work, something made us laugh like hell. Melissa suddenly laughed until breathless, and tears started flowing outta her eyes within less than a minute as she did that! We were like “what on earth happened to you, omg.” Thanks to Amir’s one-line comment, she did something that hilarious.
History was wow, our tutor took forever to climb up 3 levels to get to our classroom. Lotta inside jokes but I’m not gonna write. From sources which I can’t remember, the school is aware of our blogs and once they see anything they don’t like, ta-dah, the victimized writer would find himself talking to the school authorities and you will no longer see that blog post. Maybe they will just come across this and call this ‘flaming’, despite it being a fact and they know, heaven knows, so watch out for this paragraph =)
Oh what the hell, I’m being paranoid.
